1 cup popcorn
6 TBSP peanut oil
pop corn in two batches
season corn with
paprika, ancho chili powder, California chili powder, cayenne flakes, salt
cook the following until 250degF
8 ounces unsalted butter
32 ounces light brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pour over popcorn with
2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups sweetened cranberries
4 ancho pasilla chilies cut into strips
mix quickly since it will setup in a minute or so.
Press into a baking sheet and back at 250 for 1 hour. Let cool and break into chunks.
